We broke ground for our Phase 1 expansion this summer!!
We will be adding 2,743 sq ft. onto our already existing 3,719 sq ft building!
The new space will provide:
- An increase in size to our dog kennels
- Allow dogs to have more access to outside by adding doors to allow passage independently
- Provide indoor exercise areas during inclement weather
- Create additional housing so we can house more dogs
For the past 27 years, the Menominee Animal Shelter has served Menominee County, Marinette County, and the surrounding areas by providing care to the dogs and cats in these communities. We have helped meet humane options for the area you serve. Our shelter provides humane care and treatment for animals needing protection, seeks the return of lost animals to their owners, and finds suitable, loving, and forever homes for animals in need of new families.
As a non-profit organization, the work that our shelter does is possible through donations and fundraising. This is where we need your help! By giving today, you will help improve the lives of homeless animals and make our community a better, more loving place for all. Would you consider making a monetary donation to this event?
Your donation will greatly impact the Menominee Animal Shelter and will be used to provide care for the dogs and cats of our communities.
Please contact Victoria Vincent, Shelter Manager, [email protected] to arrange pickup for your donation, or mail to:

- Renovating all housing for cats
- Providing larger spaces for nursing moms and bonded pairs
- Improving the reception area to better serve our families and animals
